Amman Al-Ahliyya University continues to strengthen its academic and research standing both locally and internationally, achieving a remarkable milestone by ranking first among private universities in Jordan and second locally among all Jordanian public and private universities in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025.

This ranking reaffirms the university's position as a leading scientific and research hub. The Times rankings are among the most prominent international classifications measuring the quality of interdisciplinary scientific research, focusing on the impact and significance of published research in addressing scientific and societal challenges on both local and global levels.

The ranking is based on three main pillars:

1. Inputs: This includes funding for interdisciplinary scientific research and support from industry.

2. Processes: This covers the availability of advanced research facilities, administrative support, and academic promotion mechanisms.

3. Outputs: This includes the number of published research papers, their quality and impact, and their applicability across various fields.

Professor Sari Hamdan, President of the University, commented on this achievement, stating that it reflects the university's commitment to advancing scientific research and fostering an innovative academic environment that promotes collaboration across disciplines. He emphasised that the university consistently strives to support researchers and provide state-of-the-art infrastructure that aligns with the latest global standards.

Dr Hamdan added, "This accomplishment is the result of the dedicated efforts of the university community to enhance its global standing. We will continue to work tirelessly to achieve excellence and leadership."

The ranking highlights Amman Al-Ahliyya University's excellence in contributing to the development of Jordan's scientific research ecosystem, supporting the knowledge economy, and promoting sustainable development in line with the royal vision and national growth plans.

With this achievement, Amman Al-Ahliyya University reaffirms its leadership in delivering exceptional education and scientific research that supports the national economy and enhances Jordan's global standing in higher education.
