Amman – Middle East University (MEU) has been honoured with high-level recognition, as HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan presented an award to Samer Abdul Dayem, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, for launching initiatives that promote creativity and align with the demands of the knowledge-based economy.
In addition, Senator Haifa Al-Najjar, representing HRH Princess Basma bint Talal, honoured Dr. Mahmoud Al-Dweiri, a faculty member at the Faculty of Information Technology, for his outstanding contributions to modernising education systems and integrating advanced technologies into teaching.
Dr. Al-Dweiri received his recognition during the 32nd edition of the Private Schools Educational and Cultural Forum, held under the theme "Empowering Education with Artificial Intelligence Through Growth, Adaptation, and Innovation." As part of the conference, Dr. Al-Dweiri conducted a workshop titled "Beyond Tests: AI-Powered Immediate Feedback in Assessment."
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre’s award comes after achieving a top ranking in the 2024 Jordanian Universities Entrepreneurship Projects Competition. The centre has become a model for inspiring future generations to accomplish impactful and sustainable achievements.
