The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) participated in the Qatar Travel Mart 2024 (QTM), held in Doha from 25 to 27 November. The event attracted extensive participation from Qatari and Gulf travel agencies, alongside a large audience of visitors.

JTB Director General Dr. Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat highlighted that Jordan's participation aligns with the board's strategy to position the Kingdom as a premier regional and international tourist destination. He emphasised JTB's commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences while fostering strong relationships with travel agencies in Qatar and the Gulf.

Dr. Arabiyat noted that the board's goal was to strengthen Jordan’s presence in the Qatari tourism market, a critical gateway for attracting Gulf visitors. He added that strategic partnerships with Qatari travel agencies are key to increasing tourist inflow to the Kingdom.

The Jordanian pavilion drew significant attention, showcasing a wide range of tourism offerings, including information on cultural events and unique experiences such as Jordan’s archaeological and natural landmarks. Promotional materials were distributed to introduce visitors to the attractions that make Jordan a distinctive destination.

During the event, JTB held intensive meetings with senior officials from Qatar's tourism sector and representatives of travel agencies to explore avenues for collaboration and to develop mutual tourism initiatives.

Many visitors expressed admiration for Jordan's tourism products, expressing a keen interest in exploring the Kingdom's rich culture and diverse landscapes.

Jordan's participation in QTM 2024 marks a significant step in boosting tourism cooperation with Qatar. The event is expected to contribute to increased tourist arrivals and stronger flows to the Kingdom.
