Amman – The Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences at the Middle East University (MEU) held a specialised training course on the art of Arabic calligraphy. The course aimed to enhance students’ skills in Naskh and Ruq’ah scripts, adhering to precise techniques that preserve cultural and linguistic identity.

The course was supervised by Dr Khalid Fraij, a faculty member, who provided an in-depth educational experience. It covered the fundamentals of traditional Arabic calligraphy and the integration of technique and creativity, enabling participants to craft balanced and aesthetically pleasing calligraphic works.

The course concluded with participants receiving certificates of appreciation for their dedication and excellence. Their works were displayed in the Arabic Calligraphy Corner at the "Arabic Language Horizons" exhibition, organised in celebration of World Arabic Language Day.

This event reflects MEU's commitment to transmitting the beauty of Arabic calligraphy to future generations through innovative training programmes that bridge traditional heritage with modern-day demands.
