Arab Bank recently supported the "For Our Schools to Flourish" campaign, implemented by the Crown Prince Foundation as part of its Humanitarian Campaigns and Responses Program, which falls under the pathway of sustainable community development. The campaign aims to engage youth in maintaining and beautifying public schools across the Kingdom’s governorates, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting volunteerism among participants. It also seeks to a lasting positive impact by improving school environments and upgrading play facilities in participating schools.
The bank’s support for the campaign stems from its commitment to backing national initiatives aimed at advancing the education sector, a key pillar of sustainable development. Additionally, the bank is keen to instill teamwork values and the spirit of volunteerism among young people, encouraging their active participation in serving their community in line with its social responsibility strategy.
Arab Bank contributed to the campaign by supporting three schools in Amman, Irbid, and Wadi Musa, benefiting around 2,700 students. A team of the bank’s volunteers participated in activities such as planting, painting, and creating murals to foster an inspiring educational environment that positively impacts students’ academic performance.
It is worth noting that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated approach to sustainability and social responsibility, underscoring its dedication to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact. This is achieved through close collaboration with various stakeholders to realize sustainable development goals. The bank’s "Together" social responsibility program is a testament to this commitment, featuring diverse initiatives that address key sectors, including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women’s empowerment.
The Crown Prince Foundation, established in 2015, embodies the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and his belief in the potential of Jordanian youth. The foundation aims to empower young people and develop their skills through its three strategic pathways: economic participation, leadership, and sustainable community development.
