Raed Rafed Al-Khattab, head of the meteorology department, reported that Thursday’s weather will be relatively cold in most areas and warmer in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude clouds appearing. Moderate southeasterly winds are expected, occasionally becoming active.

At night, the weather will remain generally cold with moderate winds. Al-Khattab warned of frost formation in the early morning hours over high southern mountains and parts of the desert.

On Friday, the weather will be similar, but from the afternoon, Jordan will experience unstable weather conditions. Cloud cover will increase, with scattered rain showers expected, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in some areas. Winds will shift from moderate southeasterly to northwesterly in the evening. Al-Khattab cautioned about thunderstorms, hail, and slippery roads due to rainfall.

Saturday’s weather will be relatively cold and partly cloudy, with a chance of light rain in some areas. Conditions are expected to stabilize at night, with generally cold weather and moderate to light winds. Al-Khattab also warned of reduced visibility due to morning fog over high mountain areas and slippery roads in rain-affected regions.
