The Social Security Corporation (SSC) has launched a pioneering initiative titled “Quality Digital Media” to provide diverse educational content to its audience. The initiative comprises three key segments: the Insurance Glimpse, the Cybersecurity Glimpse, and the Statistical Glimpse.
In a press release issued by its media centre, the SSC stated that the Insurance Glimpse aims to highlight the most important insurance topics under the Social Security Law in a simplified and comprehensive manner. This is intended to raise awareness about the rights of subscribers and beneficiaries while explaining the systems and services offered by the corporation.
Regarding the Cybersecurity Glimpse, the SSC explained that it focuses on providing essential cybersecurity warnings and safety tips to protect subscribers' personal data and ensure secure electronic transactions with the corporation. This includes guidance on avoiding suspicious links, the importance of updating passwords, and raising awareness about cyberattacks and phishing methods, all to promote a culture of digital safety and ensure a secure and seamless digital experience for subscribers.
As for the Statistical Glimpse, the SSC stated that it provides precise and comprehensive data, such as the number of active subscribers, their age and gender distribution, and the number of beneficiaries from various insurance benefits. It also highlights growth rates and achievements reflecting the SSC’s role in fostering social protection and sustainable development.
The corporation urged its audience to regularly review these glimpses, which will be published on its website and verified social media accounts. These valuable insights aim to enhance public understanding of their insurance rights under the Social Security Law.
