Amman, 18 January 2025 – Jordan's Meteorological Department forecasts stable weather conditions over the coming days, with relatively cold weather in most regions and moderate temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Sunday, 19 January

Day: Relatively cold weather in most areas, moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude clouds, especially in the south.

Night: Cold in most regions and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Warning: Low horizontal visibility in the morning due to fog over mountain heights and parts of the plains.


Monday and Tuesday, 20–21 January

Day: Relatively cold in most regions, moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds at varying altitudes. Northwesterly moderate winds on Monday will shift to occasionally active southeasterly winds on Tuesday.

Night: Cold in most areas, relatively cold in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with continued cloud cover.

Warning: Morning fog may reduce horizontal visibility, particularly on Monday.


Wednesday, 22 January

Day: Relatively cold weather in highlands, warmer in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with medium-to-high-altitude clouds and a chance of light rain showers in southern regions.
