The far-right Jewish Power party, led by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, announced the resignation of its leader and two other party ministers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government over the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Although Jewish Power (Otzma Yehudit) is no longer part of the ruling coalition, the party stated it would not seek to topple Netanyahu's government.

In an earlier press conference, Ben Gvir called for a "complete halt" to the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza as a means of pressuring for the release of captives held in the enclave.
