Raed Al-Khatib, Director of the Meteorological Department, confirmed that the Kingdom will experience relatively cold weather in most regions over the coming days, with temperatures higher than the seasonal average for this time of year.
On Monday, daytime conditions are expected to be relatively cold in most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by high-altitude clouds and moderate northwesterly winds, occasionally active in desert regions. Nighttime weather will be cold in most areas and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with light northwesterly winds.
Tuesday will maintain similar conditions, with relatively cold weather persisting, especially over highlands, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will be slightly warmer. Moderate southeasterly winds will prevail during the day, with medium and high clouds appearing, and cold weather continuing at night.
Al-Khatib warned of reduced visibility due to morning fog over highlands and plains on both Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday will see a slight in temperatures, with relatively cold conditions in most areas and mild weather in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Scattered light rain is expected in southern regions, possibly extending briefly to some central areas during the day. Nighttime will be generally cold, with a slight chance of light rain in the far north of the Kingdom. Winds will shift from moderate southeasterly during the day to moderate southwesterly at night.
