Orange Foundation (Global and Jordan) has signed a partnership agreement with the Swiss Terre des Hommes Foundation, a leader in child rights, to establish two new locations for Digital Women's Centres in Amman and Irbid. This initiative aims to expand community and digital empowerment services for women across Jordan.
The two new centres will join the existing eight Digital Women's Centres, which operate under the umbrella of Orange's digital hubs. These centres offer comprehensive support for women, serving as platforms for talent and inspiration by enhancing participants' digital, marketing, and managerial skills.
Orange Jordan highlighted that this collaboration with Terre des Hommes, known for its efforts to empower women, children, and youth through diverse programs, aligns with the broader vision of creating a better reality for women. The initiative will enable more beneficiaries to gain essential digital skills such as coding and mobile app development, as well as access courses in entrepreneurship, knowledge management, mental health guidance, and more, paving the way for brighter futures.
Notably, Orange Jordan celebrated the graduation of over 900 women from its Digital Women's Centres last year, who are now actively contributing to the improvement of their local communities and the national development journey.
