Israeli forces continued their offensive on Tulkarm for the 12th consecutive day on Friday, while military operations in Tammun and Al-Fara’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, entered their sixth day.
Troops reinforced their presence in Tulkarm and its refugee camp, maintaining a siege around Martyr Thabet Government Hospital and converting the adjacent Al-Adawiya commercial complex into a military outpost. The camp remains under lockdown, with soldiers occupying homes—many of which have been demolished, bombed, or set on fire.
Forced displacement persists, with entire families fleeing under threat of violence. The Palestinian Red Crescent is evacuating the elderly and sick to shelters across the city and surrounding villages.
Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kmeil stated that 85% of the camp’s population—about 10,450 people from 2,105 families—has been forcibly displaced, leaving only 400 families behind, according to WAFA.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue deploying reinforcements from Al-Hamra checkpoint and Atouf gate, destroying infrastructure and blocking main and side roads leading to Tammun, Al-Fara’a, and southern Tubas.
Tammun has been under curfew for two days, while movement in Al-Fara’a camp remains paralyzed due to heavy military presence. As the offensive enters its sixth day, calls for humanitarian aid are growing, with ongoing efforts to coordinate the delivery of essential supplies.
In a related development, Israeli forces have kept the Tayaseer checkpoint, east of Tubas, closed for a third consecutive day, restricting civilian movement.
