Sources confirmed that FIFA has decided to hold the Palestine-Iraq World Cup qualifier at Amman International Stadium on March 25.

The match is set to kick off at 9:15 PM at the Sports City as part of the eighth round of qualifiers.

Palestine chose Amman as the venue for the clash with Iraq since their previous match, against Jordan, will also take place there in the seventh round. The decision aims to minimize travel fatigue.

The Palestinian national team has been forced to play all its home qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup at alternative venues due to ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza and the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023.
