Israeli occupation forces continued their assault on Tulkarm and its refugee camp for the 38th consecutive day, and on Nur Shams camp for the 25th day, reinforcing their siege with military deployments, home raids, and the expulsion of residents.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces brought in additional military reinforcements overnight, including vehicles and a fuel tanker, from the "Nitzanei Oz" checkpoint west of the city. Troops stationed themselves around Martyr Thabet Thabet Square, Haddadin Street, and the Old Garage Street. They also raided currency exchange shops in these areas, forcing their doors open, searching them, and ransacking their contents.
Military vehicles and bulldozers were positioned in front of residential buildings seized by Israeli forces along Nablus Street, which connects Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. Infantry units spread across the main roads leading to the camps, obstructing vehicle movement, stopping and searching cars, checking passengers' IDs, and interrogating them.
The blockade on Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps remains in full force, with Israeli troops preventing entry and exit while deploying foot patrols inside neighborhoods. Soldiers continue raiding homes, vandalizing property, and subjecting residents to questioning before forcing them out.
In Nur Shams, infantry forces took up positions at the camp entrances and near the cemetery. They raided homes in Jabal Al-Nasr neighborhood, forcibly evicting families during iftar. Similar raids targeted homes in the Al-Mahjar and Al-Madaris neighborhoods, including properties belonging to the Safouri and Hassan families. The Fahmawi family was detained in their home for hours while soldiers searched and vandalized it.
The Palestinian Red Crescent in Tulkarm reported that its teams were stationed outside Nur Shams camp to assist displaced families.
Meanwhile, a large Israeli force stormed Izbat Al-Jarad, east of Tulkarm, deploying infantry units throughout the streets and raiding several homes, including that of Palestinian Khaled Al-Hamshari.
At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli forces arrested three young men from Tulkarm camp while they were in the Thannaba suburb: Amro Abu Tahoun, Mohammed Matar, and Aysar Matar.
Later, Israeli troops raided homes and residential buildings in Tulkarm city and Thannaba, expelling residents and converting several properties into military outposts. Families forced out included Al-Far'atawi, Al-Dado, and Abu Samra in Nablus Street, as well as Al-Khatib, Karsouh, Bdeir, and Al-Zaytawi in Thannaba.
Tulkarm camp remains heavily occupied, with infantry forces deployed in all its neighborhoods, raiding abandoned homes and turning them into military bases. Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers continue large-scale destruction of infrastructure, particularly in Al-Wakala Street, where it has been completely demolished.
