FIFA has announced that Qatar will host the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 from 1 to 18 December, coinciding with the country’s National Day. Additionally, the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 will take place from 3 to 27 November.

Sixteen Arab national teams will compete for the Arab Cup title, marking Qatar’s second consecutive hosting of the tournament after its successful 2021 edition. Meanwhile, the U-17 World Cup will feature a record 48 teams playing 104 matches over 25 days.

Qatar’s Minister of Sports and Youth and head of the organizing committee, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, highlighted the tournaments' role in uniting Arab football fans and showcasing emerging global talents. He emphasized Qatar’s readiness to provide world-class stadiums and seamless fan experiences.

The host nation's U-17 team aims for a strong performance, having previously finished fourth in the 1991 tournament. Venue and ticket details for both tournaments will be announced soon.

Following the 2025 edition, Qatar is set to host the Arab Cup again in 2029 and 2033, alongside five consecutive editions of the U-17 World Cup.
