Content creators in Jordan are fighting a digital battle in a world where borders are fading and time and space dissolve. Here, creativity emerges from the depths of a free spirit, unbound by geography or tradition. A new dawn rises, carrying the dreams of those striving to make a difference in our beloved Jordan, where stories of success and determination intertwine with the pulse of technology, turning challenges into bridges between creativity and achievement.
This is the era of creators who refuse limitations, proving that a true homeland is built on ideas and ambition. Jordan has a clear vision for transitioning into a digital society fueled by skills and innovation. Every minute, new content is born online, speaking for its creator and attracting millions of views. But after listening to several Jordanian content creators, I found that they are struggling to be heard amid the noise of neglect, searching for opportunities in a homeland that does not see them—forcing them to migrate where their voices are valued.
Call it a digital migration, a forced exile of talent—name it as you wish.
Meanwhile, other countries celebrate these creators, opening doors and recognizing them as valuable economic assets. It’s no surprise that Jordanian content creators are moving their cameras and ideas to cities and nations that offer what they could not find at home.
The paradox is clear—Jordanian content creators remain an enigma.
Is anyone welcoming them? Yes. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are introducing digital creativity visas, tax exemptions, and creative hubs.
So, the real question is:
Why haven’t we provided them with clear regulations and solutions?
Why don’t we offer what neighboring countries do?
Why don’t we turn Jordan into a hub for digital creativity instead of becoming a free exporter of talent?
Why aren’t we building a complete ecosystem for them?
This isn’t just about individuals making videos—it’s an entire industry worth millions, impacting the economy and tourism. Today’s content creators have the power to reshape a country’s image, attract investments, and generate new job opportunities.
Jordan stands at a crossroads: either we recognize that content creators are the new driving force and the real ambassadors of the digital world, or we watch them leave, only to wonder later why we lost them.
My message to decision-makers: Are you listening?
If you’re reading this today, tomorrow you may find that these creators have already left for places that welcome them. And instead of seeing Jordanian content trending, you’ll watch our youth thrive under different flags, speaking in different accents, and fueling economies that aren’t ours.
Will we wake up before it’s too late?
