Jordan program, funded by the Arab Potash Company and implemented by Jusoor under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, continues to achieve success by offering a unique educational experience that combines field learning and hands-on application.
As part of the initial presentation phase, students from King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Karak showcased their innovative projects on February 27 at the Engineers Training Center in Amman. Their projects ranged from promotional videos on Jordanian heritage sites to TV debates and competition programs, all inspired by the country’s rich cultural and historical legacy. The event featured archaeologist Dr. Yasmine Makaron and Lebanese student Ghina Kamal, a graduate of Youth Now – Lebanon, who shared her experience with Jordanian students.
The program also included educational field visits to key historical sites. On February 26, students from King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Ma’an explored Jerash and Ajloun, learning about their historical significance and conducting interviews with foreign visitors. Meanwhile, students from the program’s Tafileh branch visited Petra and Shobak Castle, where they met Ministry of Education representative Majdi Al-Badour, who highlighted the local community's strong connection to the castle.
Additionally, students from Umm Al-Hasheem Secondary School for Girls, in partnership with Ghor Al-Safi School, presented projects on Salt and Iraq Al-Amir, as well as the Lebanese city of Tyre. Their presentations were attended by Arab Potash Company's financial director, Ali Al-Tarawneh. Students from Arwa Bint Abdul Muttalib School in Karak also delivered artistic performances incorporating traditional music and attire, drawing inspiration from Madaba, Mukawir, and Tripoli, Lebanon.
To further develop students' skills, the program is conducting in-school training workshops throughout Ramadan, beginning with Wadi Musa Secondary School for Girls. These sessions focus on public speaking and presentation skills under the guidance of media and education experts, with contributions from successful Lebanese alumni.
The program will culminate in a final competition and public showcase, with the Ministry of Education providing a venue at the Amman Cultural Palace for the grand finale in mid-July
