For the fourth consecutive year, and in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Orange Jordan has announced the launch of the "Inspiring Change Through Digital World" award. The initiative is supported by Capital Bank and held in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Association (Int@j) to honor outstanding female entrepreneurs in the technology sector and support their innovative projects, which will be evaluated by a specialized judging panel.
The award aims to enhance women's participation in the ICT sector and provide opportunities for more female entrepreneurs whose creative ideas contribute to national economic growth. This vision is shared by Capital Bank and Int@j, both committed to making Jordan a space that celebrates female innovators everywhere.
This year, the "Inspiring Change" award includes prizes of 3,000 JOD for first place, 2,000 JOD for second place, and 1,000 JOD for third place. Additionally, for the first time, a special 2,000 JOD prize will be awarded for the best Fintech (financial technology) project.
Rana Al-Dababneh, Executive Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Orange Jordan, highlighted that the partnership with Capital Bank and Int@j strengthens the award’s position as a vital platform for recognizing and supporting creative female entrepreneurs. She praised past participants, who have become role models driving change and inspiring innovation.

She emphasized that empowering women is not just a goal but a necessity for sustainable development and innovation, creating an environment that fosters female entrepreneurship and recognizes their exceptional achievements.

She noted the growing impact of female entrepreneurs in developing innovative and sustainable solutions that meet societal needs and drive economic growth. Through this award, Int@j aims to empower more women, highlight their accomplishments, and open new opportunities for success in tech entrepreneurship.
