Today, Saturday, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Muhammad al-Hindi, commented on the participation of the Palestinian Authority, tomorrow, Sunday, in the Aqaba Summit in Jordan.

Al-Hindi said: "The Aqaba conference, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday, is arranged by the Americans to put pressure on the Palestinian Authority and restore it to the free security service (security coordination) and surrender to the unjust American understandings."

He added: "We condemn this conference and the PA's participation in it, and we consider this conference and participation in it as a cover for unleashing the hand of the Zionists in the West Bank and expanding and legitimizing settlements and demolishing Palestinian homes."

Al-Hindi stressed that "reliance on American understandings and contentment with a meager statement from the presidency of the Security Council expressing their concern."
He called on all parties to refrain from unilateral steps that encouraged the occupation to commit the Nablus massacre, and to move forward in legalizing the nine outposts and building thousands of settlement units.

Al-Hindi concluded his remarks: "The meager reactions to the Nablus massacre and the acceptance to participate in the Aqaba Conference encourage the killers to carry out more massacres and further escalation without the slightest deterrent or reckoning."
