Arab Bank recently supported the annual "Draw a Smile" initiative by Haya Cultural Center during Ramadan. The initiative offers a variety of cultural, artistic, and entertainment activities within a family-friendly Iftar setting, aiming to bring joy to underprivileged children across the country.
As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Arab Bank volunteers organized an Iftar for over 100 children, featuring a planetarium movie, theater performance, Telematch games, storytelling show, train ride, and a traditional Musaharati performance. Volunteers also distributed gifts and toys, creating a joyful atmosphere.
Haya Cultural Center’s General Manager, Reem Adwan, expressed gratitude to Arab Bank for its support, which allowed children to explore the center’s diverse activities, reinforcing its mission to promote culture, arts, and child development, including for children with disabilities and those from charitable organizations.
Founded in 1976 as the first non-profit cultural institution of its kind, Haya Cultural Center aims to develop children's skills in cultural, academic, educational, and social fields while nurturing creativity.
Arab Bank’s sustainability and social responsibility strategy focuses on economic, social, and environmental impact, working closely with stakeholders to achieve sustainable development. Its "Ma’an" program supports various community initiatives, including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women’s empowerment.
