Amman, March 23, 2025 – Zain Jordan and Ittihad Amman Club, in coordination with the Jordan Basketball Federation, have launched the Zain Ramadan 3x3 Basketball Tournament for boys and girls under 16 and 14 years old.
The tournament's first round kicked off on Thursday evening at Ittihad Amman Club's newly inaugurated courts, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere. The matches continued through Friday, featuring 40 teams divided as follows:
12 girls' teams (Under 16)
16 boys' teams (Under 16)
12 boys' teams (Under 14)
The tournament aims to highlight Jordan's sports sector, discover emerging basketball talents, and provide them with exposure on local and international levels. The event is officially recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Registration was available through Zain’s official social media pages, with teams selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Matches are officiated by referees from the Jordan Basketball Federation, and the final rounds and award ceremony will take place next Friday.
