As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the experience of tourists arriving in Jordan, Dr. Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, along with Deputy Director General Wael Al-Rousan, conducted an inspection tour at the Al-Omari border crossing. The visit aimed to assess visitor reception procedures and improve measures to enhance the experience of travelers using this key entry point.
During the tour, officials reviewed on-ground feedback and monitored the procedures in place to facilitate tourist entry. Dr. Arabiyat emphasized the importance of joint efforts to provide integrated services at the border, ensuring smooth tourism flow and reinforcing Jordan’s position as a top destination. He also met with officials and staff at the crossing, praising their efforts in streamlining visitor movement and presenting a positive image of the country.
Deputy Director General Wael Al-Rousan continued inspection visits to the Northern (Jordan Valley) and Jaber border crossings, as part of the board’s plan to support tourism through land entry points. He highlighted that these visits align with Jordan’s national tourism strategy, which focuses on streamlining procedures and improving services in collaboration with relevant authorities.
