-Malaeb newspaper has sought to uncover the real reason behind the absence of Al-Faisaly’s professional striker, Mamadou Mouro, after signing with the club several weeks ago—particularly as he missed key matches due to what was said to be an injury.

Sources confirmed to Al-Malaeb that the real reason is the player's inability to train on artificial turf, out of fear of re-injury or worsening his current condition. As a result, he has been completely ruled out of important team competitions.

The sources added that with repeated questions from Al-Faisaly fans—especially after Bakr Kalbouna’s injury, which has raised concerns about filling that position—it became necessary to disclose the reason.

The same sources told Al-Malaeb that Al-Faisaly already has a suitable replacement for Mamadou. However, a mutual agreement to terminate the contract between the player and the club management is now imminent.

It’s worth noting that Mamadou Mouro joined the team for a season and a half, participated in two training sessions, and played half a match in a friendly against Baqaa, during which he suffered a muscle tear.
