Al-Malaeb newspaper has investigated the real reason behind the absence of Faisaly’s newly signed striker, Mamadou Mouro, just weeks after joining the team—particularly as he missed key matches due to an alleged injury.
Sources told Al-Malaeb that the actual reason is the player's inability to train on artificial turf due to fears of re-injury or worsening his current muscle strain, which has kept him out of important fixtures.
The source added that growing fan concerns over Mouro’s absence—especially following an injury to player Bakr Kalbouna, which raised questions about depth in that position—prompted the need to clarify the situation.
The same sources confirmed that Faisaly has a suitable replacement for Mouro, but a mutual contract termination between the player and club management is now imminent.
Mamadou Mouro had signed with the team for a season and a half, participated in two training sessions, and played half a half in a friendly match against Baqa’a, during which he suffered a muscle tear.
