Amman – Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant today revealed a document allegedly sent by the late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar to several Hamas commanders and members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in 2021.

According to Gallant, the letter was addressed to Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, his deputy Marwan Issa, and Esmail Qaani, commander of Iran’s Quds Force.

He stated that the letter was sent in June 2021, roughly a month after the end of Operation "Guardian of the Walls" (also known as the Sword of Jerusalem), at a time when Hamas in Gaza was accelerating its preparations to implement an attack plan aimed at breaking the Gaza Division.
