The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Fadi Balawi, said on Monday that the new season of the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program will launch during the current month of April.

He added that the updated version of the program will include new destinations and will focus on supporting local communities in tourist areas.

Approximately 310,000 people participated in the “Our Jordan is Paradise” program in 2024.

In December 2024, the program’s administration announced a temporary suspension of the initiative until further notice. At the time, a Facebook post explained that the decision was part of a comprehensive plan to tour packages, expand destination options, and introduce new activities within the program.

The Ministry of Tourism launched “Our Jordan is Paradise” in May 2019 in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board. The program has continued and expanded to include more tourist destinations, except during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board subsidize more than 50% of the trip costs. The program is carried out by travel agencies and other sectors in the tourism industry, with the aim of boosting domestic tourism and encouraging citizens to visit dozens of tourist destinations.
