The Jordan Basketball Federation has called on Jordanian fans to support the Nashmiyat, the national women’s basketball team, during the upcoming West Asia Qualifying Championship, which Jordan will host next week.

The Federation invited the public to rally behind the team and cheer them on during the tournament, which will take place on April 16 and 17 at 7:00 PM at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City. The Nashmiyat will compete against teams from Syria and Iran as they aim to secure a spot in Division B of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.

The tournament will follow a single round-robin format, with the team that earns the most wins and points qualifying for Division B.
