As part of Al-Kindi Hospital’s ongoing efforts to enhance its services by exploring the latest advancements in medical science and delivering world-class care, Mr Ayman Housa, Head of the Fertility Unit and Embryology Specialist at the hospital, took part in the first International Training Course for Embryologists in China.
Housa joined a Jordanian delegation of six embryology and genetics specialists in the event, held at the Reproductive Medicine Centre of the People's Hospital in Luohu District, China. The training spanned two and a half days, from the 7th to the 9th of this month, and was attended by a wide range of international academic and medical experts.
The Jordanian delegation had a notable presence at the opening ceremony, where Mr Lin Hankun, Chairman of Shenzhen Luohu Hospital Group, expressed deep appreciation for the participation of Jordanian experts. He praised their role in strengthening academic and medical collaboration between Jordan and China in the field of reproductive medicine, emphasising the importance of knowledge exchange in building a healthier, research-driven global community.
The Jordanian participants actively contributed to the lectures and workshops, sharing their clinical and practical experience and offering advanced scientific insights on complex assisted reproduction techniques. Their input significantly enriched scientific discussions and elevated academic exchange alongside experts from China and other countries.
It is worth noting that Al-Kindi Hospital is a private medical facility offering comprehensive services across all specialties. It features dedicated centres for bariatric surgery, cosmetic surgery and liposuction, vascular surgery, fertility treatment, lithotripsy, interventional radiology, cancer screening (including breast cancer), organ transplantation, cardiac catheterisation and open-heart surgery. The hospital also houses an advanced endoscopy unit for gastrointestinal and biliary procedures, twelve specialised operating rooms for major surgeries, and a fully equipped emergency department with modern ambulances.
