Anbar Sports Education Delegation Visits Ahliyya Amman

Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Amman Ahliyya University, welcomed an academic delegation from the College of Physical Education at Iraq’s University of Anbar. The delegation included Professor Dr. Labib Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College, and Dr. Amer Musharraf. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Mubaideen, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Amman Ahliyya University, as part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, the university president welcomed the guests, emphasising the importance of knowledge exchange between educational institutions to advance higher education, particularly in the fields of sports and health sciences.

Following the meeting, Dr. Al-Mubaideen accompanied the visiting delegation on a comprehensive tour, which included the Department of Physical and Health Education. The delegation was introduced to the college’s key facilities, most notably the Arena Sports Complex, which houses state-of-the-art equipment and training tools, as well as squash courts and the Arena Theatre.

The tour also included a visit to the Physiotherapy Department at the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, where the delegation explored the latest technologies and equipment used in patient and athlete rehabilitation. The guests praised the college’s significant advancements in infrastructure and academic content.

At the end of the visit, both parties expressed their appreciation for the productive meeting, affirming their mutual commitment to fostering academic and research cooperation between the two colleges. They also agreed to pursue joint scientific research that serves various fields in sports and health disciplines, and to explore promising future opportunities in education, training, and rehabilitation.
