The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 51,000 martyrs and 116,343 injuries since 7 October 2023, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry noted that since 18 March alone, 1,630 people have been killed and 4,302 injured. Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza received 17 martyrs and 69 wounded individuals.

At dawn on Tuesday, five Palestinians were killed and others injured after Israeli forces bombed tents housing displaced families in Gaza.

In Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, three Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in a strike targeting a tent. The victims were identified as Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Tahrawi from Rafah, Khalil Mahmoud Hassouna, and Mamdouh Atiya Al-Qadi.

In Beit Lahia, two more Palestinians – Haitham Hamdan and Mahmoud Hamdan – were killed when a tent belonging to the Hamdan family near a football field across from Kanaan village was struck.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that many victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defence teams.
