Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, praised Jordan’s economic policies and reforms in a post on her official X account, following her meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.

Georgieva wrote: “A productive meeting with Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan on the outlook for Jordan’s economy. Despite external challenges, sound policies and reforms have helped maintain economic stability and build a strong economy for the benefit of all Jordanians.”
