And the prince of Qatar stressed, during the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, in the Qatari capital, Doha, that it is wrong to exploit humanitarian aid for political purposes.
He said that the meeting is taking place, and Syria and Turkey are still suffering from the effects of the massive earthquake disaster that affected them and affected millions, stressing everyone's solidarity with the two countries.
He called on everyone to support Turkey's efforts to overcome the effects of this disaster and extend a helping hand to the Syrian people.
He pointed out that the meeting is also taking place in light of the serious challenges the world is witnessing at the present time resulting from new international conflicts, as we will have to evoke the challenges that the world is witnessing at the present time while we are planning for the common future for our peoples.
The Emir of Qatar announced a financial contribution of $60 million, of which $10 million will be allocated to support the implementation of the activities of the Doha Work Program for the least developed countries and $50 million to support the program's intended results and build resilience in the least developed countries.
He pointed out that the conference will contribute to supporting the path of the least developed countries towards achieving development in them for the next ten years.
