Amman – 12 May 2025 – In line with its vision to foster creativity and technological innovation, Amman Ahliyya University hosted “Innovation Day,” organised by the Faculty of Information Technology and held under the patronage of University President Prof. Sari Hamdan.
The event featured participation from Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, Dean of the Faculty of IT Prof. Mohammad Qatawneh, other deans, faculty members, administrators, and a large group of students.
In his opening remarks, Qatawneh stressed the importance of cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship among students, highlighting the faculty’s role in equipping them with digital and professional skills aligned with labour market demands.
Students who completed advanced training courses in CTF and SOC were honoured during the event. Shields were also presented to the event’s speakers.
A key panel discussion titled ‘AI and the Future of Jobs: Building Core Skills for the Evolving Market’ was moderated by Dr. Ahmad Al-Shamayleh, featuring prominent speakers including engineers Amer Hamdan, Hossam Al-Hourani, Layan Musalhi, Rawan Musalhi, Abdullah Abu Alyan, and Issa Mahasneh.
