Around 14,200 government vehicles in Jordan are now covered by the electronic tracking system, accounting for 92% of the total fleet, according to the Ministry of Transport.

Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Al-Duwairi told Al-Mamlaka that the fourth and final phase of the project, recently launched, will involve installing 4G-based tracking devices on remaining fully government-owned vehicles, which were added to the system in late 2023. Completion is expected in 2026.

Violation data shows a 68% between 2017 and 2024, with recorded infractions falling from 23,000 in 2022 to about 17,000 in 2023.
