Amman – Reuters reported early Monday, quoting the UK-based maritime security firm Ambrey, that fires were observed at a power station near the Port of Haifa in Israel following an Iranian ballistic missile strike on port infrastructure amid escalating conflict with Israel.

The company added that it had detected footage of Israeli military intercepting the missile attacks, followed by scenes showing the fall of two hypersonic missiles.

Iran launched a new salvo of missiles toward Israel early Monday.

Israeli media reported that the air defense system failed to intercept 10 missiles launched from Iran.
