The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) issued a warning on Tuesday urging citizens to avoid consuming four types of alcoholic beverages after several cases of methanol poisoning were reported.

The JFDA published the names and photos of the contaminated drinks to help the public identify them. The products are:

Vodka Red Sun (500 ml)

Vodka Red Sun (250 ml)

Vodka 48 (350 ml)

Whisky Golden Crown (187.5 ml)


Public Security Directorate previously announced the withdrawal of all alcoholic products from the implicated manufacturer and listed 11 types involved in the poisoning cases:

4. GOLD & BROWN Vodka


5. GOLD & BROWN Whisky


6. Arak Jabalna


7. Arak Ain Sarah
