Seventeen people were injured Thursday morning in a collision between two passenger buses in Kherbet Al-Souk, according to Captain Kifah Al-Hazaymeh from the Traffic Department.

Speaking to Public Security Radio, Al-Hazaymeh said the injured were employees of a company located in Sahab, and that Civil Defence teams were currently providing medical assistance on site. He described all injuries as being of “good condition.”

He also reported a fatal traffic accident on the Beltway Road involving two vehicles, where one overturned, resulting in one death and a moderate injury.

Separately, Captain Ziyad Al-Sharman from the Highway Patrol Department said they dealt with a three-car crash on the Zarqa–Irbid Road, which left two people moderately injured, who were transported to Mafraq Hospital. The accident was caused by tailgating.

Al-Sharman also mentioned a truck rollover accident near the Omari border crossing on Wednesday, which fortunately resulted in no injuries.
