Liverpool Star Diogo Jota Dies in Car Crash in Spain

Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota has died in a tragic car accident early Thursday morning in the Zamora province of northwestern Spain.

According to Marca, the fatal crash occurred at kilometre 65 of the A‑52 highway, near the town of Palacios de Sanabria.

Daily Mail reported that the 28-year-old was accompanied by his brother André, 26, when their vehicle veered off the road and caught fire, killing both on the spot.

Media outlets including AS USA and Sky News also confirmed the incident. As of now, no official statements have been released by Liverpool FC or the Portuguese Football Federation, with fans awaiting further updates and funeral arrangements.
