HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association (JFA), chaired a high-level meeting attended by Prime Minister Dr Jaafar Hassan, to discuss the next steps following the national football team's historic qualification for the FIFA World Cup.
️ The meeting highlighted the need for collective efforts to build on this unprecedented achievement.
️ Prince Ali expressed the Federation’s appreciation for the government’s consistent support of youth and sports sectors.
️ He stressed the importance of strengthening programmes and strategies to sustain success across all levels of Jordanian football.
️ PM Hassan praised the leadership of HM King Abdullah II, HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein, and Prince Ali’s pivotal role in steering the JFA towards this historic milestone.
️ The Prime Minister reaffirmed government support for the national team's preparations and pledged to facilitate better conditions for fan associations ahead of the World Cup.
️ He announced that the government would double the JFA’s budget starting next year to help the team gear up for upcoming challenges.
️ PM Hassan also confirmed government backing for expanding youth football academies, making use of existing youth centres and infrastructure.
