Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in Moscow yesterday evening, on an official visit to the Russian Federation, during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The official reception ceremony for President al-Assad took place at Vnukova International Airport in Moscow.

The Syrian president is accompanied on his visit by a large ministerial delegation.
