Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, Hussein Shibli, said Monday the agency is preparing 30–35 humanitarian aid trucks carrying food supplies to head to Gaza on Tuesday.

Speaking on the ‘Al-Ashira’ programme, Shibli said the current situation in Gaza is unlike anything before, describing Israel’s blockade and the resulting starvation and dehydration as unprecedented since 7 October 2023.

He stressed that Gaza’s population is being deliberately starved and denied water, leading to despair and slow collective death. Shibli called the situation in Gaza “extremely difficult,” and confirmed Jordan’s efforts at all levels—diplomatic and humanitarian—through direct aid programmes or coordination with agencies operating within the border.
