Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter confirmed that if Ukrainian President Zelensky did not leave Ukraine, he would most likely die at the hands of his army officers.

Ritter said on his YouTube channel: "If Zelensky stays in Ukraine, he will die either from a direct strike from the Russian armed forces, or at the hands of an officer in the Ukrainian army as a result of the political instability in the country."

Ritter added that the Ukrainian president's family could leave the country and live a quiet life abroad

Meanwhile, Zelensky himself - according to him - must prove in court his innocence of war crimes

It is noteworthy that, earlier, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced that the conflict in Ukraine is a scourge on the country
