Jordan – ‘Nishan for Plastic Supplies’ participated as the silver sponsor in the second edition of the Arab International Exhibition for Plastics and Petrochemicals, held from 24 to 26 July 2025 at Mecca Mall Exhibition Grounds. The event brought together local, regional, and international companies in the plastics and petrochemicals sectors.
Representing Nishan, Mohammad Sharaf confirmed the company’s continued participation since the first edition and highlighted its role as the exclusive agent for UAE-based ‘Eco Patch’, represented by Eng. Khaled Khalifa Al Kaabi. The event was attended by the Acting Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Hamad Al-Matarshi.
Sharaf stated that Nishan imports plastic additives and colourants used in packaging, agricultural plastics, and other industrial applications. He announced an exclusive agency agreement with UK-based Symphony Environmental for the D2W additive, which accelerates plastic degradation to reduce environmental harm and support sustainability. This, he said, offers Jordanian manufacturers a competitive edge, particularly in export to European and U.S. markets.
Additionally, Nishan recently secured exclusive rights to import various printing inks from Egypt’s ‘Enkana’ company, represented at the exhibition.
Sharaf thanked the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply and Ambassador Al-Matarshi for their support and participation, emphasising the importance of Jordan-UAE economic ties.
Eng. Al Kaabi praised the exhibition’s success in its second year and expressed optimism for its development into a leading regional platform. He stressed the importance of exhibitions in facilitating partnerships and knowledge exchange and confirmed his commitment to participating in the next edition.
