On Sunday, Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya instructed administrative governors to release 536 administrative detainees after their files were duly studied and to ensure that their release does not pose a threat to security and public order.

The ministry said that the decision comes on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan, with the aim of giving the released detainees the opportunity to engage in society and enable them to lead a normal life among their families.
