Slight Rise in Temperatures Wednesday, Heatwave to Build from Thursday

Jordan is expected to experience a gradual heatwave starting Thursday, intensifying over the weekend, according to the Meteorological Department.

On Wednesday, a slight rise in temperatures is forecast. Weather will remain typically summer-like in most regions, and hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally active.

Wednesday Night: Weather will be generally mild across most areas, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with light northwesterly winds.

A hot air mass is expected to approach the Kingdom on Thursday, causing temperatures to rise by 2–3°C above seasonal averages, bringing hot conditions to most parts of the country.
