The ceremony was held under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General for Financial, Administrative and Provincial Affairs, Mishaal Al-Shakhatra, the former Minister of Culture, Barakat Awajan, and a number of heads of associations and initiatives.
People with Down syndrome showed their abilities and skills in participating in the local community, stressing during the ceremony the rights of their children in all fields, as they do not want a pity view, but a human rights view that believes that they are an integral part of this community.
