The agent of the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Covering of the Holy Kaaba, Amjad Al-Hazmi, said: “According to the agency’s operational and technical plan, the dress of the Holy Kaaba is inspected on a daily basis and periodic maintenance is carried out through a specialized Saudi work team, where the team concerned with the task inspects all parts of the cover of the Kaaba and the rings that are attached to it, And work to fix the notes immediately, if any.


Amjad Al-Hazmi continued: "The work team of specialists and technicians is keen to organize work and prioritize it according to the approved plan, in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan, and the team members work according to the highest standards of accuracy and quality in performance and achievement in record time." According to the (Saudi News Agency).


Al-Hazmi stressed that the presidency uses the latest technologies and the best materials with international specifications in carrying out maintenance work on the covering of the Holy Kaaba, with the continuous support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to take care and concern for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque and those who visit them in general, and the Holy Kaaba in particular over many decades.


For his part, the Director of the General Department for the Maintenance of the Kaaba Kiswa in the Grand Mosque, Fahd Al-Jabri, explained that this work comes among the periodic works on which the Kaaba Kiswa Care Unit is based, as these works are summarized in installing a cloth with a height of three meters from all sides of the Holy Kaaba, in addition to To tightening and weighing the Kaaba dress and fixing it from the sides, as well as cleaning the Kaaba cover from all directions.

He added: "The black stone and the Yemeni corner will be changed, in implementation of the directives of the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, and the continuous follow-up of the Assistant President for the Affairs of the King Abdulaziz Complex for the covering of the Holy Kaaba and the engineering, technical and operational affairs, Sultan bin Ati Al-Qurashi."
