Labour Ministry confirms no plans to declare grace period or waive permit fines for non-Jordanian illegal workers.

Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Al-Zayoud says all foreigners, including refugees, must obtain valid work permits to enter labour market.

Expired permits must be renewed with full payment of fees and fines. Workers must also adhere to authorised profession and employer.
