Gold prices in local markets rose by 40 piastres in the second pricing issued Thursday evening by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewellery and Gold Shops.

The selling price of 21-carat gold reached JD 68.70 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD 66.50.

Selling prices for 24, 18, and 14-carat gold were set at JD 78.70, JD 61.10, and JD 46.40 per gram, respectively.
