The Traffic Patrol Department reported that the Ruwaished–Turaibil Road area is experiencing dense dust and reduced horizontal visibility, while parts of Ma'an Governorate and Southern Azraq witnessed heavy rainfall due to the formation of cumulonimbus clouds caused by a sharp rise in temperatures.

To maintain public safety, the Traffic Patrol Department and the Traffic Department teams carried out a field initiative on Sunday to distribute masks and cold drinking water to drivers, passengers of public transport, and road users on highways.

The initiative covered Al-Omari, Tal Hassan, Azraq, and Al-Harana stations, in addition to other locations with high temperatures, where safety guidance was provided to drivers to ensure safe driving under these conditions, along with affirming the teams’ readiness to assist road users around the clock.
